Saturday, August 15th, 2026 – The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. – In 2026 it is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation.
Sunday, November 1, 2026 – The Solemnity of All Saints
Tuesday, December 8, 2026 – The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Friday, December 25, 2026 – The Nativity of the Lord (Christmas)
Friday, January 1, 2027 – The Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, The Mother of God
In the United States, when January 1 (Solemnity of Mary), August 15 (Assumption), or November 1 (All Saints) falls on a Saturday or Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is abrogated (lifted). The feast day is still celebrated, but the faithful are not required to attend Mass on that day.
