Previous Messages To Our Community
Dear St. Anne Community,
Fr. Sergio, the St. Anne councils, and the Communication team are excited to share with you a new communication solution, which will help St. Anne families build community and to be part of the great work each of us do through the ministries in which we serve.
In 2014, Fr. Sergio prayerfully helped us to implement The City, our online community, to provide a communication platform for each of us, and to share and connect with our parish family. Over the past few years there has been significant growth and use by over 2,200 members. The more then 8,800 prayer requests, articles, announcements and events have helped our St. Anne community to grow and connect beyond Sunday liturgy.
Having seen how much good The City has brought to ministries like our Altar Servers, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, through prayer requests and posts, we have the responsibility to continue this good work.
Unfortunately, it has been known that The City will no longer be available and they are discontinuing service of The City on February 28th, this month!
Thankfully, our Bishop and the Diocese of Phoenix have a solution that fits our needs, Flocknote.
Flocknote has many benefits! It is easy to use and helps keep us plugged in to the ministries or groups that we care about, all by text message or email updates. Your information will be completely safe and secure. And users can adjust their settings at any time to meet their communication preferences! With Flocknote, we continue to have a place to post prayer requests, to find the latest event news, and to share our ministries with parish members.
Be on the lookout for an email welcoming you to Flocknote. We are migrating all of the users from each of the groups in The City over to this new platform. If you have messages and content in your City account, which you would like to keep, we recommend logging into The City prior to February 22nd in order to copy any information you personally would like to save.
If you personally use The City to make online donations you will receive an email notification from St. Anne over the next weeks providing the steps to take in handling the transition to our new online giving solution. We also invite you to visit our St Anne web site to follow the steps for making this online giving change.
