Recently my wife and I watched the movie from 1988 , "Rain Man". If you have seen this movie or remember it, it's a movie in which Dustin Hoffman play the part of an adult autistic man, and his name is Ray. The movie chronicles the the adventures of Ray and his younger brother played by Tom Cruise, who comes to Cincinnati to pick him up and take him to California. What follows is a number of incidents of Ray's need to maintain his routine lifestyle and to avoid anything that he perceives as dangerous.
It is kind of humorous, but it kind of makes a point also as we watch the movie. Some of the adventures are; first of all they try to go and find a flight fly to go back to California. Ray knows about all the tragedies where planes have crashed and people have lost their life. The only airline that hasn't crashed is Qantas, the Australian airline that of doesn't fly to Los Angeles from Cincinnati. So they get into the car and they are going to go by car. Next thing Ray is afraid of the freeway traffic so they have to go on the surface roads.
