Father Fidales: I am sure that some of you would be dying with curiosity, saying who is this guy? He is kind of new! Well, just to quench that curiosity I would like to introduce myself a little bit. My name is Father Fidales, the first time I said Mass in Phoenix I deceived the people. How did I do that? Well at that time I had moved from Lake Havasu City. When I introduced myself, I told them my name was Father Fidales, and moved from Lake Havasu City and you can tell from my accent I was born there. The shock was that I told them, "No, that was a lie." And I turned around and said, "No, please don't tell lies, that was a joke". Then I told them where I came from.
Father Fidales continues:
I am originally from Nigeria, and I have been in Arizona now as a missionary for over 12 years, always in Arizona. Right now, what do I do? I am a Chaplain, in a way one of yours. I live in Mesa and I work in Gilbert at your hospital here, a very wonderful hospital called Mercy Gilbert, that's where I work. So I know your Priests, and they are my friends. They invited me over to come and talk about my book. This is a new book, and I am promoting it. I am a missionary in need of your help to support the mission with which this book is meant for. I will tell you my mission in Nigeria in Africa for diabetes that I will talk about and talk about this book. Before I do that I will give brief Homily.
