You may have noticed we are using a new incenser today. I say new, but I should say old, because it is a very old incenser. It was made in Granada Spain in the 18th century, in 1778. So this country was 2 years old.

It is also a beautiful way to express that the Mass is a way to worship God, but we are not the only ones in the Mass, the Church in Heaven, and also those in Purgatory come to use as we offer the sacrifice of the Mass. How many Masses offered to God while this incenser was used. by many many many Priests and people. We wanted to use the incenser today in a way to honor, or to celebrate in a special way the Feast of Corpus Cristi. What a beautiful feast, what a beautiful mystery. Jesus had to leave, He had to go through His Passion to save us from Sin and eternal death. But at the same time, He loved us so much that He wanted to stay with us. So He came up with this crazy idea.
