Second Sunday of Easter (Homily)

Homilies,
Easter
It was very cool at the 4:30pm Mass yesterday because, we had 8 adults who had been baptized, I am pretty sure all of them, but not positive about that, had been baptized in non-Catholic Christian churches and were coming into the church. So they received their first Eucharist and their Confirmation. And so the 4:30pm Mass got to watch them get confirmed, then we had them receive the Body of Christ first before we started.
It was really cool because they're coming from somewhere else and now are in full communion with the church. It was beautiful. So to see and acknowledge some of the, and not see all of it because it is internal, the joy and wonder, that they either expressed on their faces, or we can imagine was going on inside of them as they received the graces for the first time, from the Eucharist and from Confirmation where the Holy Spirit descends and actualizes those graces. Yeah a lot of that we're not going to see of course but, to acknowledge, that's what was going on.
