The Guadalupanas meets on the second Thursday of the month and attends Mass as a group on the second Sunday of each month. During the meetings, the rosary is prayed for special intentions and needs, as well as presenting a bouquet of roses to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Guadalupanas prepare for the feast day of Our Lady by praying a novena at Our Lady’s shrine. Per the group’s tradition, a mariachi band serenades “Mañanitas” to Our Lady in the early morning followed by a Mass. Following Mass, hot chocolate, coffee and Mexican cookies are shared with everyone.
