Our Paintball Event, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, was again a success! Many new smiling faces that joined us today – Blessed be God! I gave them a teaching from the Divine Mercy devotion on Spiritual Warfare, which Christ gave to St. Faustina. I told them that the formula for sainthood is perseverance through our failures and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, that He walks with them always and that they are never alone! A special thank you to all who helped out and supported us – Knights of Columbus, Ladies Auxiliary, The Crossley family!
Photos: Cristero Young Adults & Catholics in Action - Washing the Feet of the Homeless (Holy Thursday)
My Cristero young adults were invited by Catholics in Action, on Holy Thursday, to imitate our Lord in an act of charity. I will share what Catholics in Action posted on their group forum…
"On Holy Thursday Catholics in Action and the Cristeros joined forces to lovingly wash the feet of those going through homelessness. What a humbling experience, yet a very joyful one…to wash the feet of a stranger…someone in need.
In talking to several of them, it was joyful to see and hear about their faith in God despite their troubles and struggles in life.
May our trust in God be as faithful as theirs."
Here are some of the photos from that day. God bless.

Greetings in Christ,
Come join us for our annual Youth BBQ & Paintball event, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, Saturday, April 14th, 2018 @ Wild West Paintball in East Mesa. This year the admission fee will be $20 a player, a big discount from their recently raised fee of $45. The admission fee includes: paintball gun, armor (vest and mask), paintballs and lunch that will be provided by the Knights.
Our event will be from 9am to 1pm, and I advise to get there early so you can be guaranteed all your equipment. Also, because of our budget, thanks to the Knights, it will be ‘first come first serve’ for the discounted fee, so this means once we reach our cap, you will have to pay full price. So please get there early!
There will be a spiritual teaching during lunch on ‘Drawing our strength from the Lord,’ tying in the tactics of paintball to spiritual warfare. Don’t miss out! We are very excited to see you all for this event! Remember, parents, there will be a waiver that needs to be signed before playing, I will attach a copy of that here. Or, you can fill it out the day of. Please bring exact change the day of the event to make it easier for payment. Wear long sleeve clothing and pants for better protection, if this is your first time.

Greetings in Christ,
I want to thank all the parents and leaders that helped out today at our youth BBQ. We were well fed and the youth had a blast! We finished the evening with a decade of the Rosary, offering up all the intentions that our youth hold in their hearts. Please continue to pray for our youth and for me. God bless you!
