Today’s youth paintball event was so awesome! I want to thank all the youth/teens for coming out, I always have a blast with you all! Thank you to the Knights of Columbus who cooked and helped make this thing possible, and also a huge heartfelt thank you to the parents who helped us in any way, shape or form. God is never outdone in generosity.
After lunch, we talked about the Armor of God, from Ephesians, and how the very first line tells us to be “strengthened in the Lord,” because if left to our own self, we cannot give ourselves what we don’t possess - faith, peace, hope and love. “Put on the breastplate of righteousness,” to not only guard our hearts from what the world offers, a false peace, but having it prepared for the coming of Jesus at every encounter, every trial, every new day he offers us to fall deeper in love with Him. God bless you all.
In Mary’s arms,
