An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a Christian religious service. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as retrieving and carrying items, ringing the altar bell and so on. Activities, Events, News, and Information
As you may already know, the funeral Mass for Joan Elia, Jim’s wife, will be on Monday, January 22nd at 10am. There will be a reception immediately following the internment in the parish hall. The Funeral Ministry needs our assistance with the reception. We are providing the reception to Jim and his family in gratitude for their long years of service to our community. We are hoping that everyone would be willing to contribute a dish for the reception. No need for fancy—just comfort food for us to share as we support Jim and his daughters and remember Joan. We are expecting about 100 guests to attend. Please fill in a need listed below if you will be able to assist in any way.
Food can be dropped off in the parish hall on Monday morning.
Joan’s family invites us to join them in laying their beloved wife and mother to rest.

An Invitation for the Youth - Help Needed for 'Live Stations of the Cross' @ the Lenten Experience (Jr. High & High School)
Greetings, Parents! We are in need of 15 youth (Jr High & High School) to participate in the Live Stations of the Cross at this year’s Lenten Experience, which will be Wednesday, February 7th. For our youth, this is a great opportunity for a deeper understanding of the sacrifice love of Christ, through the visual senses. Please join us!
If you are interested in having your youth participate, please email Katrina Winn at Katrina.Winn@gmail.com. Our first practice will be on Tuesday, January 23rd @ 6:00pm in the St. Anne courtyard.
Thank you and God bless,
"Making the Way of the Cross, we, the followers of Jesus, must declare once more our discipleship: weeping like Peter for sins committed; opening our hearts to faith in Jesus the suffering Messiah, like the Good Thief; remaining there at the foot of the Cross of Christ like the Mother and the Disciple, and there with them receiving the Word which redeems, the Blood which purifies, the Spirit which gives life."
