An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a Christian religious service. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as retrieving and carrying items, ringing the altar bell and so on. If you'd like to learn more information about becoming an altar server, please contact Peter Faulk at St. Anne on The City.

A Call Out To All High School Aged Young Men! Join Us For This Year's "Young Men's Conference" On December 28th!
Greetings in Christ,
I ask of you, St. Anne family, the task of reaching out to those young men in your life and challenging them to listen and follow Christ’s call to serve Him with their lives - in whatever vocation He has planned for them! Christ and His Church offers them opportunities and instruments to find their true identity and to live that out as a radiant light that’s vitally needed in our world. St. Catherine of Sienna beautifully quotes this, “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire!” What is lacking at times in their life, is the invitation and challenge from us.
These young men are our future priests, husbands, fathers and leaders of our church and communities. We must continue to affirm and encourage them; pray for and with them and make any small sacrifices for them.
This year’s theme for our “Young Men’s Conference” is RESOLVED: “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified” (1 Cor 2:2). Please extend this invitation to all high school aged men in your life. Spaces are limited and the deadline to register is December 21st! Every individual will be responsible for their own transportation. We will meet at the event, which will be at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Az. Please find all the details posted below, including the link to register on our website.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me on the city, or by email Johnc@stanneaz.org. Thank you. Please pray for our youth. God bless you.

All High School Aged Men - Hike (Tomorrow) with Fr. Camou (Assistant Vocations Director) - Saturday, December 8th, @ South Mountain - 8AM
Greetings in Christ,
The Diocese of Phoenix is inviting high school aged men to a hike with Fr. Camou, assistant vocations director and chaplain of JP2 High School. I do apologize for the late notice, but I was just informed by email of this new group which will be hiking once a month in order to foster holy vocations. Future dates will be posted in advance on The City.
This group is for high school teens who are ready for more structure and depth in their walk of faith (Dads are also welcome). This is also a great way for them to connect with brothers in the Lord, through a spirit of prayer, comradery and physical activity. If interested, please let me know asap in order to plan accordingly.
