The purpose of B.O.L.D. is to lead the youth to Christ so that they may develop a relationship with God through prayer, charity and being Jesus' disciples and to provide a safe environment where they can learn, engage and interact in a youthful, simple age-appropriate way with their peers, core team members and their Catholic faith.
The youth group meets once a week on Sundays to learn more about their faith and also attend to social events such as hiking, sports and day retreats throughout the year.

Dear St. Anne,
As we move forward with the planning and execution of the WYD pilgrimage to Panama, I want to let you know about the amazing things that have taken place. What started out as the planning of a small local pilgrimage is now becoming a national pilgrimage, with the Los Angeles and Phoenix chapters of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (C.A.L.L.) leading the way. As a wonderful addition, the Los Angeles Young C.A.L.L. Professionals (YCP) will also be joining us in Panama City from January 21 – 28, 2019. Anyone over the age of 14+ is welcome and there is no upper age limit, assuming you are cleared by your physician to attend. Minors must travel with a parent.
As a result of all of this, registration forms will be available online in the next 2 weeks and these forms will need to be sent to C.A.L.L. offices in Los Angeles. If it is not convenient for you to mail these out, I will be happy to continue receiving registrations at my office in Mesa. Registrations require a non-refundable $800 deposit which will be applied to your overall trip fees. We will continue accepting these until there are no more available spaces which are limited to 60. If anyone waits too long, pricing is subject to change due to increasing flight costs as the date approaches.
I’ve attached all necessary forms. The medical release form is not necessary for the initial registration, but please keep in mind that if your physician does not clear you, your deposit is not refundable. All pilgrims will be required to have a physical exam prior to departing for Panama.
If you have any questions, you may email me at email@example.com .
Please make checks payable to Catholic Association of Latino Leaders and applications should be mailed to:

An Invitation for the Youth - Help Needed for 'Live Stations of the Cross' @ the Lenten Experience (Jr. High & High School)
Greetings, Parents! We are in need of 15 youth (Jr High & High School) to participate in the Live Stations of the Cross at this year’s Lenten Experience, which will be Wednesday, February 7th. For our youth, this is a great opportunity for a deeper understanding of the sacrifice love of Christ, through the visual senses. Please join us!
If you are interested in having your youth participate, please email Katrina Winn at Katrina.Winn@gmail.com. Our first practice will be on Tuesday, January 23rd @ 6:00pm in the St. Anne courtyard.
Thank you and God bless,
"Making the Way of the Cross, we, the followers of Jesus, must declare once more our discipleship: weeping like Peter for sins committed; opening our hearts to faith in Jesus the suffering Messiah, like the Good Thief; remaining there at the foot of the Cross of Christ like the Mother and the Disciple, and there with them receiving the Word which redeems, the Blood which purifies, the Spirit which gives life."

Greetings in Christ,
Our monthly basketball game with our priests is here again! Come and challenge them in a friendly game of basketball on Monday, January 8th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Freestone Park. We will have a few warm-up scrimmage games for the first hour with all the youth, and then a young adults vs priests game for the remainder of the night. Hope to see you there!
Thank you to all the many people who helped with While Shepherds Watch! Last night was so much fun – it was truly a joy to see all of our efforts come together!
Thank you especially to:
Dana and the craft team – the nativity was so fun to put together. I think the parents liked it as much as the kids. :-)
Jean and Al for the beautiful stage (and so, so much more!)
My wonderful actors (and their parents) – you were great!
Sarah Scroggins and the band for the beautiful music
Lights and Sound – You were “spot on” ;-)
The Ladies Auxiliary – the cookies were delicious
CIA for the carols
And all of the many volunteers who helped with setup, registration, and other planning efforts!
THANK YOU ALL!
We are in need of some volunteers to help set up the hall for While Shepherds Watch. Setup will be on Tuesday, December 12th, from 4-7pm. Any volunteers who can help for some or all of the time are much appreciated! :-) Many hands make light work!
Thank you in advance for your generous gift of your time and talent!
