St. Anne Roman Catholic Parish presents
"A Man For All Seasons"
We invite adults and children over 12 years of age to join us on April 28th and/or 29th at 6:30 pm for a parish play, "A Man For All Seasons." It is going to be a wonderful production with several St. Anne parishioners sharing their great acting talents.
About the Play
A Man For All Seasons is a play by Robert Bolt.
The plot is based on the true story of Sir Thomas More, the 16th-century Chancellor of England, who refused to endorse King Henry VIII's wish to divorce his wife Catherine of Aragon, who did not bear him a son, so that he could marry Anne Boleyn, the sister of his former mistress. The play portrays More as a man of principle, envied by rivals such as Thomas Cromwell and loved by the common people and by his family.
THIS PLAY IS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN 12 YEARS AND OLDER ONLY.
In order for the best play experience, the doors will be locked at 6:30pm for the start of the play and entrance will not be allowed during the performance in order to not disrupt the actors and preserve the lighting and audio for the play. Please plan to arrive by 6:20pm in order to find your seat. Thank you for your understanding.
There will be a 15-minute intermission to allow for light refreshments and restroom break.
